Privacy policy (POPIA)
Policy version 2026.1. This summary is for applicants and learners using Kusaza. Falcon Industries is the responsible party for this platform.
What we collect
- Identity and contact details (name, email, phone, SA ID where required)
- Application and programme information
- Documents you upload against a programme checklist
- POPIA consent timestamp and policy version
- Technical logs needed for security and support (for example sign-in events)
Why we process it
- To receive and evaluate applications for skills programmes
- To create and manage your learner account
- To communicate application status and related notices
- To meet skills-development and audit obligations with authorised parties
- To secure the platform and prevent abuse
Sharing
Personal information is available to authorised Falcon / SDF / Finance roles as needed for review. It may be included in export packs for funders or SETAs when required for a programme. We do not sell your information.
Security
Access is role-based. Sensitive fields are protected according to our security baseline (encryption for high-sensitivity KYC fields in Phase 2, private document storage, activity logging).
Your rights
Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal retention holds. Contact admin@falconindustries.co.za or use the Contact form.
Consent
When you apply, you must give POPIA consent. We store the time and this policy version with your profile and application.
